About

The person behind GRAFTIC

My name is Raphaël NDOUYE. For seven years I have been the IT person for organisations that have no IT department — and yet need one every single day.

Mine is the path of an all-round IT professional: helpdesk first, at CARTALINK then SENS NUMERIK, where I learned to listen to a user before touching the keyboard. Then servers, networks and security. Then development, because too often the right software simply did not exist for my clients' trade. Today, with GRAFTIC, I do all three — and that is exactly what makes the difference: the person who designs your application is also the one who knows your server and your users.

I designed three platforms for Senegal Customs, contributed to a data management application for Expertise France, delivered more than ten business applications and put as many IT estates back on their feet. CompTIA Security+ certified, holder of a Master's degree from UCAD, I work in French, English and Wolof — and above all I make a point of speaking the language of the people who will use the tool.

What clients ask before signing

Can I test your applications before paying?
Yes. Gestickets opens with a free online sign-up. My Hotel and Tailor start with a fifteen-day free trial. For TonStock, a demo access is opened on request. In every case you enter your real data, see whether the tool fits, then decide.
How much does a custom application cost?
It depends on scope. After a free first conversation, you receive a written proposal with a fixed price, detailed deliverables and a schedule. For many common needs, adapting one of our existing platforms is far cheaper than building from scratch — and we say so plainly.
How fast will my tool be up and running?
On one of our existing platforms: a few days, the time to set up your organisation, your users and migrate your data. For a fully custom application, typically four to ten weeks depending on complexity, with testable versions all along the way.
Is my data safe?
This is the core of the job: CompTIA Security+ certification, encryption of sensitive data, fine-grained per-user rights, access logging and automatic backups. Your data stays yours — exportable at any time and never resold.
Do you only work in Dakar?
On-site work covers Dakar and the regions, with mobility across several sites. Everything related to development, hosting, configuration and support is done remotely, anywhere in Senegal and internationally.
And after delivery, am I on my own?
No. Your teams are trained, documentation is provided, and a maintenance contract can cover updates, evolutions and assistance. Many clients keep GRAFTIC as their permanent IT lead, long after go-live.
